Flying Buttress Earrings
You first discovered flying buttresses inside that flicker of shadow and light they call an art history slideshow. Later you fell in love with the genuine thirteenth-century version while on an adventure in France. These structures were designed to hold up a building with their outstretched arms much in the same way as when we begin to lean, our friends reach out to keep us from falling.
These earrings were designed as an abstract tribute to both the architectural workhorse and those within the loyal inner circle who hold and support us.
Just like you'd find on a cathedral, these square-edged silver wire earrings are a facing pair. The earrings share the same elements and complement one another with clean lines that are elegant, stylish, and a little bit fun. The perfect addition to your sleek, simple, put-together look. Or perhaps you'd like to give some support to a friend who needs her own version of a flying buttress?

The pieces in our collections are primarily made to order. This means we create each piece specifically for you when your order is placed. We intentionally keep limited stock because when we make our jewelry we want to know that its next home will be with you, being worn and loved, not sitting in a box still waiting for its moment to shine. This process typically takes 1-2 weeks, unless otherwise noted. Another benefit to creating our pieces this way is that it allows us to work with you to customize elements of a design if necessary. Don't see the size option you need? Just contact us with any questions you have about measurements or fit before you place your order. We want you to feel confident that you're receiving the perfect item.
